It only seemed fitting that the two could somehow co-exist, even if just in a playful and platonic manner. This is a fun twist for teammates that have established a good connection but might need a break from the more traditional retrospective ceremony. What you can expect to get out of this exercise While you may encounter a lot of baffled looks upon introducing this exercise, you can rest assured that the end result will liven the room and afford heightened relationships.

Like most of my peers, whom were interested in cars and playing video games, Need for Speed was the game we played together. For me it was NFS: Carbon, and just mentioning the name brings up some great memories from back in It has and still does excite me even to this day to just play video games. So, why is this important? What does this have to do with anything?
Around , a few years after I started playing Need for Speed, as well as broadening the games that I played, I met a rather influential player who got me into taking photos. His name was Josh. The thing Josh influenced me to do was to look at things from a different viewpoint.

Thankfully, like anything difficult in life in , there are ways you can learn how to come easier. The good news is that there are concrete steps that you can take to get there. Get Psyched About Sex Treat sex like you would treat a presentation at work or a long distance run. I know, so unsexy, but bear with me: Lee stresses the important of eliminating judgment and focusing on playing. Feel The Vibes The hottest tip of them all?
This is a game changer. Lee recommends that you start with a small vibrator and test it out on and around your clitoris during sex. You can keep it on the bedside table and grab it when the time is right. Handing a vibrator to your partner is a very hot move. Mutual Masturbation Once you introduce a vibrator into the bedroom, you can take things to the next level by masturbating… together. This is a great way to quite literally show your partner what works for your body.
Then, your partner can touch you in the right places when you are getting down together.

We have developed a multifaceted approach to help incoming interns identify and ultimately be paired with an appropriate faculty mentor. If an incoming intern is a part of a specific research tract research pathway, clinical scientist training program, or international scholars program , then his or her track director will assist them in finding an appropriate mentor. We also maintain a readily accessible online directory of potential faculty mentors for each Division in the Department of Medicine, outlining each faculty member’s key interests and projects suitable for resident involvement Click here.
This directory also identifies the faculty members responsible for Divisional research and fellowship training, who can assist interns in identifying mentors. Finally, in the late Fall of each year, we hold a lunch session for all interns to meet with potential mentors and brainstorm about project ideas. This mentored scholarship helps residents become independent thinkers, exposes them to important aspects of medicine not learned through clinical rotations, and allows them to present their findings on an appropriate local, regional, or national stage.

As we wrap up BMW month, there’s one more big retrospective piece left to do — the M cars. For over 30 years M-badged cars have embodied BMW’s motoring spirit on roads and racing circuits around the world. You’ve already seen lots of BMW’s race cars this month, so let’s take a look at the history of production M cars, dating back to the famous BMW M1 of the late ’70s.
With it’s mid-engine layout and extremely low production numbers, the first M car became one of the most desirable BMW’s of all time. For more on this Lamborghini-designed supercar, check out John Brooks’ and Andy Blackmore’s retrospective stories on it. The inline six in the M CSi was derived from the M1 engine and gave the car very impressive performance figures for its time. For the most part the M version of the CSi looked the same as the standard version, except for a different front fascia, wheels, and of course the M badge.
Following the M i, the first “M5” model was launched on the E28 chassis in The E28 M5’s subtle styling was intentional, as BMW Motorsport didn’t want the car to advertise it’s potent chassis and hp engine. The first M3 model, launched in was anything but subtle.

Still, I decided I wanted to try something different so a friend of mine and I signed up to attend a speed dating event followed by an erotic poetry reading. I had been speed dating once before and it was awkward, but entertaining. There were about 10 men and 10 women and we were at a restaurant with a bar, thankfully. All I had to do was sit there and look pretty and the men rotated through 3 minute rounds. This time around, I figured that since the event was being held at a black owned bar and followed by a black organized poetry reading that my chances of meeting a black male poet might be a bit higher than the average Seattle speed dating situation.

If your team operates by The Scrum Guide , your retrospectives likely have less than ten people in one room and last about an hour for a two-weeks Sprint. What if your current team is larger than a typical Scrum team and a retrospective period is longer than a month? What if the team members are distributed across locations, countries, time zones and multiple third party vendors?
Is this retrospective doomed to fail? These factors just add an additional complexity and call for a different facilitation approach. Last month at HBC we facilitated a large-scale mid-project retrospective for a 60 people-project team. Here is how we did it. From Inquiry to Buy-in This all started with one of the project sub-teams reaching out with an inquiry: Further digging into a list of participants revealed that this retro would be unlike any others.
We were about to pull together a group of 60 people from HBC and five consulting companies! In spite of working on the same project for a long time, these people never had a chance to step back and reflect on how they could work together differently. In order to make it successful, we needed buy-in from the leadership team to bring the entire team including consultants into the retrospective.
Our first intent was to bring everyone into the same space physical and virtual and facilitate a retrospective with Open Space Technology.

We also talked about the technology advancements since then that have made our experience seem so primitive.
