With Hydrogen On Demand we are using the hydrogen immediately as it is being produced. Hydrogen On Demand is a lot safer than vehicles using stored hydrogen, natural gas or propane vehicles. It is important to wire your HHO system so that your generator only makes hydrogen while the vehicle is running. Infact diesel engines seem to get a little bit better MPG gain. As far as how much hydrogen gas is needed for a particular size of engine. Yes, there is definitely a point where after a certain amount of HHO gas, it doesn’t change the equation much, in fact if you keep increasing the amount of gas, you will climax and plateau and your MPG will actually start to decline. No, quite the opposite. There is no carbon monoxide or other greenhouse gases being produced. Hydrogen gas burns clean, the by product of its combustion is water.

Most basic automotive systems can be pinpoint tested down to a faulty component in a matter of less than 20 minutes, regardless of the code. You will need a scan tool, preferably capable of monitoring the car’s sensor values sometimes referred to as PID’s , a vacuum pump and a pressure gauge. A scan tool is not completely necessary, and I will give you a work around in the testing procedures. All systems are quite similar in design but some car manufacturers may use different names for some of their components.

I bought this with all new brakes and front end parts. I did a lot of work to this truck since I bought it. New tires, tranny cooler and tranny lines and tranny fittings, new fuel tank straps and some fuel lines and fuel cooler, new starter, new front U-joint for rear driveshaft, new rear pinion seal, new 4×4 actuator, passenger side rear brake caliper, new windshield, new front grille, and passenger side door handle.

It has a GlowShift tinted 7 color series mechanical boost gauge, ppe boost valve, slightly oversized mud tires ‘s instead of ‘s less than 5, miles , 5″ straight pipe from the downpipe back, it will come with a Dual Media aftermarket radio, a CAT fuel filter, high flow Spectre air intake with a washable filter, and a trailer brake controller. I rebuilt the primer once I got the truck and changed the oil from Rotella to Delvac and it does have a small lift in it. Last but not least the entire truck except for the bed has been bedlinered it is strange to me as well believe me but it is practically scratch proof and it doesn’t look half bad either and will not rust.

The straight pipe sounds very good and allows the truck to breath better in combination with the high flow air filter. This truck runs and shifts beautifully, I use it currently as a daily and during the summer I used it to pull our camper and our pull truck. This truck pulls like a freight train and I couldn’t ask for a better truck. This truck gets good fuel mileage and and gets looks from people every where you go.

I am selling this truck to get something a little more fuel efficient because I am off for the winter season. The mileage will go up but not very much as I don’t drive very far on a daily basis.

Before I started I turn off all the breakers, disconnect the trailer from shore power, and switch off the battery or disconnected it. This is the safest way to do this especially when working on a duel voltage system. The converter I changed was in my own trailer it had a wafco 75A unit, this unit was separate from the power panel assembly. To start with I remove the front cover from the power panel it just snaps out, and then I removed the four screws that hold the panel to the wall.

The wiring connected to the panel was long enough to allow the panel to be pulled out and set to the side.

Get the plug and play. Mine, I did the pocket mount. What I did with mine was use good 3M tape, mounted on the lower left side and just under the fuse box. I tried several places, did not want to use up any storage areas and wanted in in an area that I could see it all the time. That was the only place that I found that worked.

What I did was used on strip of 3M tape on the pocket mount, moved it around the areas I though would work and then drove a few days. Found it to be in the way, always hit, could not see it and so on Then found that area low left out of the way, could still get to it, could see it all the time, never hit it driving and moving around on a trip. That was the key, I know a guy that mounted one to tight, moving around to shift in the seat on a road trip Locked up his brakes on the trailer and about lost it When I found the spot, I cleaned both areas, dash and pocket mount, then used 4 strips of 3M tape, stuck in place and it has not moved.

No drilling and I can remove with fishing line and a heat gun, if needed.

It’s not that you really need it, but knowing what’s really happening with your engine helps a bit, and the pressure surges when you mash the pedal sure are entertaining. My car was among those unfortunate Saabs that came without a boost gauge not that the standard one is very useful though , and I long wanted to fix that.

November 11, , In modern vehicles, including the Tundra, the Alternator contains an electronic controller which adjusts output Voltage, and therefore Amps according to the measured “State of Charge” found via the “Sense” wire. For a short time after starting, the voltage WILL be sufficient to charge the batteries – but the “State of Charge” recovers pretty quickly, and the alternator reduces its voltage to a “float” level of Even if all this voltage could be seen at the Trailer batteries, it’s not enough to drive much current – and the batteries will not charge in a reasonable amount of time.

But the situation at the Trailer batteries is even worse than that, for two reasons: Voltage Drop in the wiring, and lots of power being consumed by the refrigerator. Typical RV refrigerators, built using heater-based “absorption” technology, consume A while running the DC Heater. When the original ” They are being discharged, rather than charged. Ctek makes one the “D S” , and Redarc devices from Australia are very popular for solving this problem.

The boxes install in the Trailer, not the TV. You could also build DIY, although multiple boxes would be involved: Costs for Ctek and Redarc devices are much higher, but they can also support the use of Solar Panels.

HHO Gas FAQ For Hydrogen Generators

Considering I have a fresh k mile warranty i might have my car checked out soon. Or maybe I’m paranoid and its nothing. Any ways, I guess the boost gauge I have is the stock one.

Sure, it is fun watching the needle on the boost gauge spinning thanks to that huge turbo you installed, but the PPE Turbo Boost Gauge allows you to know exactly what is happening with your engine.

Installing a Boost Gauge on a GM Duramax by Francis Walsh Diesel engines equipped with a turbo charger are asked to perform better than their unequipped brethren. With the addition of air boost pressure from a turbo charger, diesel engines like the GM Duramax produce more horsepower and torque by forcing more air into the intake. The addition of extra air allows more fuel to be pumped in, and the resulting combustion returns more power than without the extra air and fuel.

One problem that arises from this extra power is the creation of enormous amounts of heat and pressure inside a turbo-charged diesel engine. Monitoring these products and by-products of combustion are essential in the reliability of the engine’s performance. Installing a boost gauge on a GM Duramax diesel engine is the first step in monitoring the engine during use, and is recommended for any turbo engine that has aftermarket parts installed or is driven for performance.

Park the GM Duramax truck in a work area that is flat and level with plenty of light. Open the hood and driver’s side door to allow entry into the spaces that will house the new boost gauge and carry the lines to the engine that the gauge uses to operate.
